Refund policy

Our goal is to give you the best handcrafted products with total quality checks conducted prior to dispatch, so as to eliminate returns or exchanges.

In the event it becomes inevitable, our policy is as follows:

Customers will ship the product back within 48 hours after product receipt, to VL Zaris team in USA or India. Pictures and description of defect(s) will need to be sent prior to dispatch of product to customer_service@vlzaris.com, in the event a defect was found.

Shipping cost will be borne by the customer. Upon receipt of the product, the VL Zaris team will inspect the product for defect(s). If defect(s) are found, the product cost will be compensated within 7-10 working days for a gift voucher at VL Zaris which is redeemable for 1 year after return.

For international returns, costs (shipping and customs charges) are borne by the buyer. These charges will not be refunded.

In handloom weaves the following are not considered as defects. VlZaris team carefully conducts its quality control check prior to shipping

  • Product color mismatch or slight differences – VL Zaris strives to capture the accurate color of the saree; however tones may vary slightly due to digital images and differences in camera lens. 

Note: VL Zaris recommends customer to verify color prior to purchase.

  • There may be thread irregularity and these are common in hand woven sarees and are not considered defects. Examples are small gaps around designs or motifs or uneven threads areas of joints connecting saree to pallu.

Certain items don’t qualify for returns

  • Customized blouses or other orders that have been stitched for specific sizes.
  • Readymade blouses or items purchased by customer after sizing chart was provided and customer confirmed size
  • Once worn items cannot be returned – due to hygiene conditions.
  • Sarees sent for fall and pico
